Folks,
a new gliding forum
Stuart and/or Kerri,
I am not aware of any other Australian forum dedicated to soaring; perhaps you
are confusing a 'forum' with a 'mailing list' like this one (aus-soaring)?
Different animals.
Regards, Bernie.

Nice one Bernie, this is a real FORUM...easy to use and navigate. Better than a
mailing list filling my inbox. I hope people use it. Already added to favourites

Funny how two category headings are exactly the same as those on the
DDSC forum
www.ddscforum.org
It's Australian and its about soaring
Forums are just not that popular among glider pilots. I dont know why.
Good luck to anyone who gets one going :) Timing may be the crucial
bit. Good lu
Sure are, one is convenient the other is pain in the ...
It will be rather sad to see communication regarding gliding split.
Anyway, it is a free country I guess.

Hi AJ,
yes, the Darling Downs forum was the inspiration for this one, and I
plagiarised their category headings. I hope they take that as a compliment and
not an insult.
I saw their site as aimed at DDSC members, not an Australian audience, and hope
I didn't offend anyone. Headings can be easily
Hi Bernie,
Hope the forum takes off. I believe its all about the critical mass
required to keep a forum moving. A continuous flow of new content is
what is required. This list's stats (thanks to Mark and Tim) sees 71
out 311 subscribers contributing per month. That would make a healthy
forum, but
ther two weeks of study before getting
through to the sim sessions in Melbourne.. Will be around 3months from first
day to checked to line.
