Use a configuration file
Rather than have Navision Axapta read settings from the registry,
settings can be read from a text file generated from the Navision
Axapta Configuration Utility. The file name and path can then be

Hi Steeve,
Axapta depends on the OS for the systemtime ..
so if the OS changes the time, the AOS also changes time.
Baseline: No problems expected.

Hi Ashish,
that is not a sp5 problem.
As far as I remember we had that problem already in sp3 with unicode

In Addition you should be aware configuration keys depend sometimes
on license keys. So you guessed right .. there might be a missing
license for those fields.
On the other hand you don't need those fields when you have no code

Hi Sonny,
for your second question ...
Axapta EP has a problem with resources .. so when you change the
company logo resource in EP, export the project and import it on
another machine ... Axapta can not run the EP. It seems Axapta can
not find that resource when creating the Webpage.
Solution:

configuration is used, when the com component is started).
3.) You shou

Ok here is the correct way:
Create a new Axapta 30 Application and Client (both with
servicepacks).
Than copy all the 2.5 *.aod files to the old folder in 3.0.
Copy all the layers, that includes modifications
(var,vap,cus,cup,usr,usp) to the application folder.
