I looked at the record for the marriage of your Manuel and
Mariana..definetly not the manuel born to Antonio and Isabel de Jesus in
1841yours was born in 1844 to different parents. However, your Manuels
mother was also one of the de Jesus women connected to the name
Dick Eastman (who is in Salt Lake for the National Genealogy Society (NGS)

Last time I checked, the world subscription did not include much
concerning Portugal or the Azores, but I'm wondering if that has

They do not have a specific Azores or Portugal selection yet. They do have
records ship's manifests, US census, etc. of those coming to US. However, I
use these ship's manifest to get a date to go to CCA site to look up
passportes. I usually search 4-6 weeks before the date on manifest.
