Rick, HP just had a sale last week on their Windows 7 computers - I don't now if it is still going on in case anyone else is interested. They must have some understanding to be able to still offer 7 on some of their computers because no one else does as far as I know. I did not want a Windows 8

I considered ordering on line but I could not get on the net and I was not going to wait more than a few days for a replacement and also order something sight unseen over the telephone. I have just too many things I need to do every day. All my programs are up to date so it was no problem there.
