The 10th line from the bottom is where it starts in with da Costa (for Isabel's last name). buried (blob) in this (too light) Mae de Deus. The best I can make out (with the light record and the light coming in this window) is the she died in Povoacao at Mae de Deus. The next line start with

On the bottom half of page 102, as pointed out by Julio, there is a reference to: "LOPO DÍAS, DA MAIA, MEU PARENTE" Since this document was written in November 1511, can you please check your family trees for this man being alive at this time. Who is? How is he "related" to Joao Afonso exactly.

Joe M, You are correct, there is no name there. It says something about solmenly in the presence of those in the eyes of the church...I don't translate the church stuff. I look for the words "in faccia ecelesia" or something like that. I believe that is Latin and the groom's name always follows
