I'm at the FHC tonight and tried to access the digitized microfilm records.
No go. If an LDS member is here they can access for me and get into the
database. So it seems that is the only way to access. If there is something
on the CCA that is hard to read you may want to try and go to your local
FH

When I was in SLC last year I spoke with one of the head people on the
International Floor and that is how she explained it to me. So, I will see
today if it is still the same but I believe that it is so. I think the
problem comes with the original permissions granted for the microfilming

I have search the records on Family Search from the time period and expand it a
few years before and after with no help, unless I am missing something I am not
finding anything

If I remember right, the restrictions are put on by the owners of the
records. The LDS church has been granted permission for its members to view
the records. Thus the need for an LDS login.
