I've recently had to deal with my father's bones being placed in an ossuary.
My father passed away in 1987 and the cemetery had placed him on the list
to exhume back in 2017. Instead of his bones to be placed in a mass grave
of bones, I had the option to have him placed in a n ossuary i
DBM,
I have mapped out the Paiva's in capelas as far as the records go up to. We
are probably a match as well.
To confirm a paper trail, you will need to locate information/dates before
1911. Is that an issue for you?

I have an interesting situation.
I found my great grandfathers baptismal record – so excited!
I expanded my search to siblings…I found 3 others. Two other boys and 1
girl –super excited!
Excitement quickly turned to confusion…
My great grandfather is Jose.
His fath
So much has happened since this post.
It turns out that this lady is my paternal grandmother's sister, so that makes
her my grand aunt, and she married my first cousin 3x removed.
Once I was able to confirm this, it's been branching out nicely.

Luz Revoredo and Jose Paiva), were from Capelas according to my mom. I have
checked the records of that parish, Nossa Senhora da Apresentação, which is the
one I was baptised in as well. In fact, I have checked all the
