The age would be stated in the 3rd period of marriages. Or is that 2nd
period? It's not in any of the baptisms.
Here's an old post explaining the 3 periods and the 3 events (baptism,
marriage, death) and what to find in each record.
The post starts with Ruy and then in my post, I answer, citing
it says they're were married and naturals of Sao Sebastiao, living in
Ribeira Seca.

Courtney,
You didn't state if you found your Francisco's birth record. In case you
didn't here is the link

Courtney,
Again, you need to READ this about how to trace your ancestors:
goo.gl/HXmQPB
You DID NOT find your ancestor's naturalization record. You found an index
card. If you read the section on naturalization, you will see you need to
order the naturalization packet from the USCIS.
You will
Ilha = Island
Concelho = Council (like American counties)
Freguesia = freguesia. It doesn't translate properly. It's the village.
The organization can be found in my How To that I've posted. Here it is
again:
goo.gl/HXmQPB
30+ pages. You really need to read this. Over and over again, as there
Courtney,You found some distant cousins named Esteves.I don't think most people would care about such distant cousins enough to trace them, but if you want practice, it will lead to your own Esteves line once you get into the 1600s.Doug da Rocha HolmesSacramento, CaliforniaPico & Terceira Genealogi
Or check two years before the date you have. I have found more than once
that relatives will state they were born 1867 but when I find baptism its 2
yrs earlier in 1865

Courtney L,
You also search one year before and one year after. And then expand based
on other information you may have on him.

Courtney L,
Which record? Number 5, left bottom for Joao? He's the son of Manuel
Esteves Ferreira and Maria Emilia, paternal grandson of Joao Esteves
Ferreira and Delfina Julia and maternal grandson of Agostinho Goncalves
Duarte and Josefa de Jesus.
I can't tell you if it's the right one or not
