can show you the traffic between your backup server and Windows client
(iftop is handy, as you can specify the IP range to show).

I've had issues with Panda, who would block file reads until it had
scanned the whole file. So if your rt.jar is quite big, and your server
hasn't too much power to scan it quickly, it might result in this timeout.
