Your version of Zlib might be in the 5.8.5 subdirectories (or
whatever version you had previously) of /opt/local/lib/perl5 which is
not being included.
Maybe reinstall Compress::Zlib to get it in the right place.

Using macports, I actually have two installs of perl. One in /usr/bin/
perl and one in /opt/local/bin/perl.

I google and found a nr of link about this but not a reply to solve my

I get this error message in object for a failed backkup...but:
- I do have compress-zlib-perl and compress-bzip2-perl installed
- I checked and can confirm the path are correct in the main config.pl for
bzip, gz
