Dear list,
I use bacula since one year and found to be an excellent backup
solution, thank you for it. We currently backup about 120 client using
it and plan to migrate to other backups as well.

Morning all,
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but I'm looking at
running the Windows version of the FD within the Windows 2000 cluster
service.
This looks to be possible, with the cluster service handling the
stopping & starting of the process and if the configuration is stored on

bacula-2.0.3 and got brestore from bacual-gui of the same version

Hi Kern,
Thanks for these tips... I didn't see them until just now... I actually
fixed the database already based on documented changes that I had stored
in my Wiki and bacula emails (containing JobId and VolumeName)... I
verified the changes by doing a few restores and the aforementioned

Right. After the double migration, I verified the job with a small
restore... Everything seemed fine...

Hi,
First of all I must say that I'm impressed by the simplicity and power of
bacula. I'm new to the world of backups, but I found it extreamly simple
to setup a backup server at home.
Now I was playing with Master Key and encryption. I can backup correctly,
and restore using PKI, but I was

Hi,
Which version of brestore/bacula are you using ?

I'm not sure that Eric reads this list. I recommend that you either copy him
directly on bweb/brestore questions or copy the bacula-devel list.

Bacula never rewinds either the input or output tape after it has started
reading or writing unless it is going to change the tape, or in the case of
reading, if there is a new job.

Hello,
There are a number of elements here that I hope everyone takes into
consideration properly:
1. Until Win32 Dir and SD are documented in the manual, I do not consider them
supported (this wasn't as clear as it should have been in the ReleaseNotes).
That said, it *is* released, it *does*

Hello,
This is a nice solution to the problem, and something that you might want to
keep indefinitely. However, the "problem" should be fixed in version 2.0.3.

Kern
