Hi, i have a problem with volumes in bacula 5.0.1 (ubuntu 10.04

now i have multiple error on volume. All volumes have recycled
status set to 1 and there is a lot of space in the hard-disk. I tried

Rory,
Thank you for your feedback.
I now have the following bacula modules on my server:
ii bacula 5.0.2-2.2
ii bacula-client 5.0.2-2.2
ii bacula-common 5.0.2-2.2+b1
ii bacula-common-mysql 5.0.2-2.2+b1
rc bacula-common-sqlite3
I'm testing Bacula, so this is not a production setup and I ran into
an issue, problem, bug, I'm not sure. During my testing, I'm backing up
a file system of about 700gb to a disk. A FULL backup took around 21
hours with compression turned on. While this was happening the
remaining backup

I'd like to know if anyone could point me some directions about how I could
create a routine in Bacula to make a Full backup of my main servers and then
manually remove these tapes to take them to a safe place (in case of a
catastrophe).
I've a few doubts about how I could make this work, I
I'm interested to know about configs on the PV 124T too. I've got an
LTO4 Quantum drive.
clwbackup:/home/it# tapeinfo -f /dev/sg3

Here is my unaltered and working /etc/init.d/bacula-dir from ubuntu
server 10.10 apt-get install:

Bacula will not read backup executive tapes (or any other format but
bacula's own format). You will have to

Well, my problem is specifically a tape drive problem.
Have you tested your drive?

Hi there,
I am upgrading bacula, but am having problems with my database. When I
upgraded from Debian Lenny to Debian Squeeze, I ran into the version
error bug, and I used 'update_mysql_tables_10_to_11' from Jim Padel
posted in the bug report here:
John -- I'd be grateful for your comments on how best to do a dd based
read and write test for LTO3 and LTO4 tapes. This seems like a fairly
good way of narrowing down a drive or interconnect problem.
Is something like the following correct?
mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind
dd if=/dev/sdx
