So I have a backup job that apparently wasn't autolabeling so it held
up all the other jobs until I cancelled it this morning when I came
into work. Is there a way to tell bacula to move onto the next
job rather than wait for a volume to be labeled? I'm only doing
hard drive backups so I
Why not use a hard disk in a USB enclosure? That way you don't have to mess with shutting down the machine.
Otherwise I think it would work fine as long as the hard disk is in the machine before the backup starts.
You wouldn't need bacula to send the email to the operators. Just
setup an email
I also have the same problem. I have been getting around it by
selecting mod and then changing the storage to the correct
device. It would be nice if it were automatic since my coworkers
may miss this little step and become oh so frustrated.
I'm using 1.36.3 on Debian.
