RW It seems you want to customize bbdb-mua-update-interactive-p.
OK but all I can find is
bbdb-mua-update-interactive-p is a compiled Lisp function in
`bbdb-mua.el'.
How do I save the output of
M-x bbdb-display-all-records
in a file using emacs -batch?

What torture. The 1000 item mailing list I was reading has a different
obfuscation for each mail from even the same person.
So I get asked over and over about Bob's supposed new address. There
should be a new choice: don't ask me again about him for a month!
Package: BBDB 2.35
Here's how I send mail to my friends.
escape x b b d b return s o m e f r i e n d return C-x o m
(Here we notice I still hit escape instead of ALT, since 1987)
But what bugs me is that I must do the C-x o. Did I forget to set a
variable or is there none yet for this case.
I see. I should use all four methods for extra protection. Is that
what the deal is?
;; -*-coding: utf-8;-*-

(setq bbdb-file-coding-system 'utf-8-unix)
(add-hook 'bbdb-load-hook

OK, I am putting
;; -*-coding: utf-8;-*-
at the top of ~/.bbdb .
Will that ensure that no matter what wacky headers somebody sends me,
~/.bbdb's coding won't get hijacked again, forcing me to have to dig it
out of backups?
No more message of .bbdb doom:

Idea: implement undo. Let's say one makes a mistake. Currently there's
no way to undo it.
E.g., after a regretted bbdb-delete-current-field-or-record, there's
no way back. One must kill emacs and throw away the #.bbdb# file and
start again.
I hit gnus-group-save-newsrc and all the sudden I am being asked by
gnus to pick a new character set for some file.
I find my formerly big5 .bbdb has now all been converted to utf-8,

But it nor the manual doesn't say what to do about it.
All I know is I'm now doubleplus-positive. A doubleplus carrier in the
community with no cure.
Just curious, reading the docstring of bbdb-offer-save: If t, If
nil If not t and not nil , wouldn't it be safer, in the
first place, but not now, to use an exact value for the last, not a
wildcard? I mean one day you might want to add further possibilities,
but e.g., you don't
bbdb-print is just to print .tex, how about .html or .txt?
By a batch job too.
OK, I was able to make a .txt with
$ emacs -batch -eval '(progn(bbdb nil)

You might want to document the proper way.
I see I must use progn as safer and poops out at
