I have been using BBDB for a few years. I am wondering if there is a new
release coming up.
Emacs is getting ready for version 22. Is BBDB ready for default inclusion?
Is BBDB still maintained?

it couldn't be that hard converting between different address
book formats.
Trying http://www.diku.dk/~elgaard/lib/emacs/bbdb-ldif.el didn't
work. None of the commands seem to work (tried C-h a ldif RET
