bbdb.el contains :
(defvar bbdb-use-pop-up 'horiz
^
"If true, display a continuously-updating bbdb window while in VM, MH,
RMAIL, or GNUS. If 'horiz, stack the window horizontally if there is room.")
which contradicts the 'Customization Parameters' node in bbdb.in
Hi there,
I noticed bbdb/mh-pop-up-bbdb-buffer always splits the largest window.
This is bad with MH-E if the largest window is the summary window in
which case the *BBDB* buffer will come between the show+... and the
+... buffer, so that the (other-window -1) in mh-show will get to the
wrong win
I have more information on what I am seeing:
Running: FSF Emacs 19.22
BBDB 1.49
JWZ-GNUS 4.1 (this is the GNUS 4.1 with optimizations put
together by JWZ)
on a Sparc 2 with Sun 4.1.1
I am definately seeing bbdb frobnicating EVERY time
I seem to be seeing some extra BBDB frobnicating when using JWZ's
optimized gnus 4.1 setup. It appears tob e caused by the new nntp.el
package.
Any ideas?
Lance
Am I the only one to find advice.el intractable (ie can't compile it)?
I *did* read the Installation note below, though with it being 3:42 in
the morning I might have done something else stupid.

BBDB'ers,
I'm pretty new to BBDB and this mailing list, so please forgive me if I'm
asking a repeat question

The advice package is included in v19, and I don't think it has been
broken. I use it out of the box and it works.

For those of us still running emacs19, where might we pick up "advice" (needed
by bbdb-mhe)?
I haven't done a whole lot, but it seemed like enough had accumulated
for a release; see the diffs in the texinfo file for details. The
whole package is on lucid.com in pub/hacks/ as usual.
