BBEdit's find window seems to use your Mac's "use selection for find" function. Try this: type "hello" into BBEdit's find window, switch to Safari and search google for "goodbye", now switch back to BBEdit. You'll find that your BBEdit find window now contains the word "goodbye". Also, try it
