Hi,
Chester is bored silly; that is his problem. So, give him a job to do. Take
Chester to Obedience School. Dogs love to learn, and they love the
one-on-one quality time they get in Obedience training. This will cost you
one hour per week, plus 15-30 minutes, daily, doing "homework". Obedience,

Hi everybody,
I posted with you guys before and I thought to share Bijou's homecomming.
Last Saturday, we brought our BMD pup Bijou home from Switzerland. We flew
with Austrian Airline and Bijou stayed on either my husband's, my son's or
my lab throughout the flight, which worked out great. In
I'm hoping to find several folks among the BMD community who have *indexing
skills* and an interest in applying them to all things Bernese. This team
would build and maintain an index to articles appearing the

A friend of mine is currently in search of a new dog,
as her Lab recently passed away. Does anyone know of
reputable breeders of labs or Newfoundlands in eastern
PA, NJ, or New York? or at least were she can gather
more info?
Thanks in advance,
Janet
I am planning on moving from my home in Idaho to Baltimore, Maryland in

Hi everyone:
My pup will be a year old in less than a month. I was wondering at what age
do you wean a pup off the crate. He sleeps a lot better when he is in it at
night (he roams around and can't get comfortable when he is out at night).
I want him to have free range around the house durin

I was kind of disappointed yesterday when I took my
lover boy BARC Gulliver to the Vet's. To begin with I
could hardly force him inside. We didn't see our
regular vet. The first thing the vet did was anal
temp. which didn't make Gully fond of her. She didn't
think once about the spider bite idea
I have a 16 month old male Berner who has suddenly developed a bad habit.
My wife and I both work, and for months Chester "behaved himself" perfectly
while we were gone (we pretty much give him free reign in the house). In
