Kaethy,
The fruit is not poisonous - it's the seed that contains toxins that can
make them ill or worse. If she doesn't eat the seeds, she should be
fine. They're actually good for coats. The fat in them, anyway.

As a new breeder, I want to comment that getting a litter submission on
our first litter of 3 puppies has been a lot of work! I gave all of our
puppy owners a heads up last fall. I contacted each of them again in
December when the pups were 2 but since it was the holiday season, we

I agree 100% that we need all puppies in a litter x-rayed and so to make
sure that happens in a timely manner, we pay for it (unless we have a
special arrangement with the puppy owner). Our first litter of nine was two
last July. We made arrangements with the various veterinarians for payment
and

Hi Sherri and All,
When I've brought puppies home at 8 weeks or so, they could not physically
make it through the night without having to pee.
Too right! A wee pup brought home has to go when he/she has to go, takes a
few more weeks before bladder comes under control.
Best always to talk to

I can't wait for this movie, particularly since the Berner mentioned is the

For Pam,
If you can post emails to anyone else,(which it seems evident thatyou can do) your

I was reading a newspaper last night (the Express), and there was an
article about pet shops and supermarkets. The major chains see the pet

they are planning to open up exclusive pet centres selling pet foods and

Dear Kaethy
When we lived in Queensland, Australia we also had access to marvellous
avocadoes and hte Dobie we had then loved them. Her favourite treat was
licking out the avos with some of the Queen Prawn shells. Avos with prawns
was pretty much our favourite treat too!
