I know the samples are low quality-- they're samples. Hearing 30
seconds of most of the tracks on a album is the advantage of shopping
music on the net.
This is all the fault of the high-speed wireless capability. I'm
listening to music on the stereo via the SB3 while controlling it with

OK so it sounds like what you really need is a "Radio Tune In" option
for SqueezeNetwork so you can quickly play something. Currently the
only way to add something to play on SN is via the Favorites page. I
will open an enhancement for adding this.

You'd probably save yourself some trouble just listening to those
30-second samples in Windows Media Player, since you're already on your
PC. They're low quality and IMO not worth the trouble of finding the
URL and pasting into the web interface for play on the SB.

I apologize if my explanation was not clear. Please forgive this
long-winded one.
Pandora introduces the user to new music by including information and
links to Amazon. From their FAQ, they use the Genome project to "play
songs that are musically similar to what you've told us." It happened

I came to love Jazz and discover high-end audio because of my MusicMatch

mDNSResponder, mov123 and sox. I think the only binary you'll want to
snag off the link shown above is lame.

I've forgotten where I put them, and the mac mini is now in the hands of
a deserving soon-to-be-college graduate. I just searched for the flac
binary that slimserver installed and then overwrote that with the
universal binary.

I also use iTunes playlists. But my multiple players (4 SB2s) are all
hard-wired, so it's not a network issue. Unless Gigabit Ethernet is too
fast!
I think that an earlier post in this or a similar thread may have
tagged the real issue: Skip. I've been avoiding using Skip (hitting the

Where do these binaries go in the Mac filesystem? From my Linux days I
would imagine /usr/local/bin - but is this correct for a Mac?
Cheers.
