What about the constant problems with it reporting many duplicate albums
and tracks ?
Please file a bug, so your specific issue can be tracked and fixed.
Include as much information about your setup as possible - directory layout,

I've noticed a couple of minor bugs in 6.5b1 recently. If anyone else
can confirm they're seeing the same behaviour, I'll file a bug.
Firstly, the new 0-100 volume control doesn't quite seem to work
properly. When you increase the volume, it goes 0 1 2 3,

Chris,
your patches continue to work for me (using W2K and current trunk) w/
the following caveats:
1) initial tuning of the station from the web ui loads the channel into
One SB2 and one SB3 both work fine individually with random mix. When
using the players synced, however, no new tracks are added as one
finishes. I can get around it by getting the server to pick 200 or more
tracks to start with.
On Windows XP SP2 with 6.5 nightly 2006-08-29.

I've noticed that there have been no 6.5 rpms for the past several days.
Has this been a problem with the build process, or are rpms being
phased out?

Just made the change to 6.5. It looks great so far, but I do have a
question: Did switch to SqueezeNetwork from the web interface not make
it into 6.5 or am I missing something? I'm using SlimServer Version:
6.5b1 - 9195 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252.
Thanks,

I just upgraded to the latest 6.5 slimserver and the latest softsqueeze
and now from work I can't connect to my slimserver via softsqueeze. I
never had any trouble with the previous production version of
slimserver and softsqueeze so I'm wondering if this is something with
the latest beta. Not

Fixed by re-installing softsqueeze. Not sure what the issue was, but a
re-install of softsqueeze fixed my remote connection issues.

Tried a 6.5 nightly again. At first, it seemed to be fixed. Then I
played some more, and I found what's wrong.
When streaming WAV as WAV (unticking WAV-FLAC in File Types) this is
what's happening. WHen leaving this option, it probably converted to
FLAC to save bandwidth and then the SB plays it
I switched from 6.3 to the 6.5 beta and seem to have lost the Analogue
VU screensaver - is that right or am I losing the plot?

I'm not entirely sure about this but is the visualizer plugin enabled in
Server Settings Plugins?
You might have to restart slimserver for it to take effect.

Very nice enhancement! Having unavailable streams not appear at all was
a bit confusing: I was always going back to the web interface to check
what I had or had not added.
I'm looking forward to the new nightly to get those redirected mms
streams too! Love the site,
I should explain the location. Our location information is based on
signal strength information and not the address of the station. So,
when you browse to Albany, New York, it's listing stations that you
could hear in Albany. You see stations from neighboring cities and many
of those stations
Just a problem with the build process after the branch over the weekend.
Dan's working on it!
A number of people around the office use the RPM builds, too.
