I just install 6.5b2, this is great stuff. Everything is so fast! I was
using 6.3.1 w/MySQL 4.1 of my own, and this is still light years more
quick than that. I had weirdness playing on the slimp3 as well, and the

OK, this is really strange. For some reason the Squeezebox remote is now
working and yet my philips Pronto isn't, even though it copies the same
remote. So something has definately changed with the remote settings in
6.5b.
I have both slim remote and the jvc remote ticked in the settings and
my p
GREAT. Thanks. For me (and not only) important feature - sorting albums
by YEAR is at the end working.

nightlies and recyling more often.
But would it be possible for the play mode (random mix, shuffle,
repeat) of each SB to get persisted in the prefs, so that Slimserver
will keep each players mode even after the server is reset

How do I login to RadioTime via SlimServer? When I go to the web
interface and click on "RadioGuide(TM) by RadioTime(TM)" I see "My
Radio" but all that happens is I'm asked to visit radiotime.com/slim
and I can't see anywhere to enter my RadioTime username which I've
already registered.

I stopped and restarted the server and tried again (initiating the play
from the server) and it seemed to work with the pause/unpause trick.

for example, if I tune to FolkAlley, it usually plays a "welcome" file
then goes on to a song, with the display showing the name of the song.

Hello;
I upgraded my server to 6.5B2 and am having no problems with my
Squeezebox. However, my older Slimp3 will not play any streamed music.
It seems to play music from my library just fine, but no Internet radio
stations. Again, the Squeezebox works fine.
Any ideas?

be working fine except I don't get any audio. I'm trying two different

No, you'll need some updates to the perl modules as well. If you're
familiar with compiling stuff and installing modules from some repository
on the DS, go ahead and
Any plugins you've installed for 6.3 probably won't work in 6.5.
So its best to remove your Plugins folder before doing the upgrade, and
then download the latest versions of your plugins.
Other than that, I think you should be fine
