What about ~/Library/Application Support/SqueezeCenter ?
I tried an install today and they are there.

Just want to report that I experienced the same problem with Synology
DS107+, FW 518, ssods-3.0beta3-armv5tejl.pat, and
SlimServer_trunk_v2007-11-15.
Removing the above mentioned file made my Scanner work again as well.

I found by uninstalling unused plugins for services such as rhapsody I
got it to work. You will need to reboot your computer after doing this.
However, I still have the problem where everything shows up, all the
stations but I get a server error, that the player was unable to
connect to the sirius

Ok, I see why you may not have noticed the folders missing.
I wanted a fresh install of 7.0 and I completely deleted Slim before I
installed 7.0.
7.0 simply doesn't install the folders on its own. If a person
upgraded from 6.X to 7.0, you wouldn't realize these folders were
missing because th
I believe it may be a bug. I searched my computer for the folders and
the only folder I could find is "Bin" which is in the normal spot..
User>Library>Slim. Nothing else is the Slim folder.
HTML, IR, Graphics and Plugins folders are nowhere to be found.
Thanks,

You shouldn't modify the PreferencePane folder or its contents. When
a new version is installed, the old prefpane is completely deleted.
Instead, SC should be making the folders within the user's Library/
folder. Is this a bug?

Thanks for your quick response. My OS is Leopard (Mac 10.5). To be
honest I'm not sure if SC can write to my directory or not. How do I
determine this, any idea?
No I haven't been rescanning as I haven't made any changes to my
library, should I be?

What OS? Can SqueezeCenter write to your playlist dir? Are you
rescanning your library after the updates?
In general, the plugins and other features that write an OPML try to
write it to your playlist dir. Some of these, but not all (I'm not
sure about favorites) will fallback to writing to th
Hi all
A curious little issue comes up each time I download and install a new
nightly build - a number of my playlist internet radio stations lose
both their URL and name and I have to go into the Edit feature to
re-type them in, in order to be able to use them in Playlists.
Note that it doesn'

Before posting the full log, are either the RPC or xPL plugins required
for Slacker? To be sure, I've tried to enable all available plugins
from the Server Settings, but apparently it's not sticking and they're
not being loaded
They are disabled by default.

Did you try to do so? You'd get the explanation then. Yes you can. But it won't
find your iTunes collection, and you'd have trouble connecting to network
shares. For more details please read t

Thanks! That was certainly a doh! kind of situation. I'd never looked at
the Slimserver in the Start Menu before and didn't think to do so with
SqueezeCentre. Perhaps the run as a service option can go into the
setup script?
I also don't remember having to supply my login for other services,

It appears there wasn't a bug in the application, perhaps the
installation process only.
I had slimserver 6.5.x on my OSX (Tiger) before. I migrated to Leopard
and use the Mac migration tool that moves all your older files and
applications over to the new version of the OS. It is such a good tool
I guess this note is to Fred et al,
1) Great job on the documentation.
2) When describing/explaining a tag value the name of the tag is on the
left and centered vertically with repect to the explanation. I was
thrown by this as I assumed that it would be aligned to the top of its
explanation.
The new subscribe logic allows for a subscription list of commands.
Lets take the playlist command. Is "playlist" the command or, for
example, is "playlist newsong" the command, or are both valid with the
latter being more specific. Similarly for prefset.
If "playlist newsong" is permitted a

It's completely stopped working for me now. Any time I attempt to use
the Slacker link I get the error message shown below. I've restarted
the server, cleared its cache. No change. The only player connected
