The caching of art per track is something I need to look at. In theory, each track can have different album art and would display this way in the playlist view for example. But certainly those do not all need to be pre-cached. I will make a note to look into this. -- andyg

Yes you can get gd files, but I doubt they would be much use to you as they are an uncompressed format which is used internally by libgd and which is manupulated on jive to make sense to SDL. Its really a hack to avoid the time that the jive would otherwise spend decompressing png files. --

On a hunch, I broke out the old SBR and fired it up. It had no problem connecting to SC7. It went through a firmware update, and it found the SB3 and SBR that are connected to SC7. everything looks good. So maybe there's a problem with the new SBR.I'll keep troubleshooting... -- Pale

aubuti, I'm not really sure what it does vis-a-vis SqueezeCenter -- I didn't spend much time investigating that. mDNS is an Apple technology and is used to broadcast the availability of services. My guess is that it would have something to do with iTunes integration of some sore. - R --

I'm running SC7 on a LinkStation HG, which has PowerPC processor. Although I have seen complaints in server.log about Error: Couldn't find mDNSResponderPosix binary! Aborting! every time I restart SC7, so far I haven't seen any adverse effects, because SC continues to load and run. Thanks for
