Yeah, running it again I'm back to similar library connection problems.

I have to say, the Encore wallpaper looks much better on my LCD monitor
than it does on the Squeezebox Touch. It's a night and day difference.
It's blueish and washed out on the Touch (no matter the brightness
level), but actually is teal on the computer monitor, with much better
contrast.

In 7.3, it was easy to know what to do. Button always drilled down, and
only played if the selected entry said play.
Now - sometimes button means play, sometimes it means drill down. In
play cases, button-hold is drill down. And the play button - what's it
for?
This really violates my sense
On the SqueezePlay Switch players to another player and then back to the
SqueezePlay. That is how I got it working with 7.3.3. I won't report
bugs using it this way as it is not supposed to work :)

I've just tried 7.4 on my OS 10.4.11 system for the first time today. I
experience the same behaviour as John. When hitting the start button
Squeezebox Server attempts to start but after a couple of seconds it
fails.

For me browsing to the folder is not enough to get the album art. To get
it I follow these steps:
1. Browse to the folder with the album. The album will show with art.
2. Browse to the artist. On the artist page the album doesn't have art.
Going to the album page will add the art.

unmet dependencies. But the config files remain.
During startup, you must have/make an account on mysqueezecenter.com -
the server insists on it.
My controller also forced me to log into mysqueezecenter.com, which is

supporting user-defined ordering of items on the home menu on the
SqueezeOS-based players (SBC/Touch/Radio/SqueezePlay)? I can't find the
option anywhere, but I also suspect that things have moved ahead since
'this post last year'

Cant remember exactly what I did. I went into Settings and home menu and
added My Apps. I found music services listed in My Apps and added to my
home menu. I think I also had to go into SqueezeCenter and make sure the
music services I wanted were checked off.

Squeezebox and on the Duet, and not really lilong the new Duet interface
on 7.4 which feels clunky to me, I finally decided to uninstall 7.4 and
completely restart everything with the 7.3 again. Still going through

startup too. I fixed my plugins so it didn't report this.

I discovered that the SBC with the latest firmware can not see my SC
server I have to use

And add my server that way.
Btw Squeezeplay on my Eee PC behaves the same way, but i'm stuck there
