Hmm, I encoded an MP3 file and an ALAC file with iTunes 9, and both set
Sound Check data in the usual way in an iTunNORM tag. I think the value

Thanks for the heads up. I'll file a bug and look at this, but it
likely won't make it for 7.4 unless it's trivially easy.

Sorry to all you guys working so hard to get 7.4 up and running, but it
looks like Apple has thrown in a bug or 'feature' into iTunes 9 that has
changed how it's Sound Check (Apple's version of ReplayGain) works.
I think it sets (or used to set) a tag called iTunNORM which SC was
able to read and
Right after I installed Version: 7.4 - r28547 and watched as SB Boom
updated its firmware to v50, it started up only to the point of
'obtaining IP address...' and then turned off completely. I had to hold
the on/off switch down for about 5 seconds to get the unit to restart,
at which time it repe

My problem had something to do with a problem with iTunes (I don't use
it, but for some reason SC supposed I did). Michael gave a solution. For

The original bug has gone in this build: browse by artists and albums

Thanks for the explanation. I have many Pandora stations, with some

If possible I would make that an option above the list of stations.
When I access Pandora with a browser interface and with my Chumby, it
starts, brings up the list of stations and starts playing the last
station used.
The same as turning on a regular radio, turn it on it plays the station
