On Squeezeplay 7.5something on the now playing screen when you press +
to get more info on the track you cannot get an idea of where the cursor
is. If you use the keyboard (with num lock off) you can scroll up and
down but cant see where you are. Anybody else see this?

Is squeezplay supposed to work with mysqueezebox.com. I just get "this
player is already registered to another user". If it is supposed to
work what do I do to make it work?

so the priority will be what for each file type?
as i understood you, it goes:
APE, id3v1, id3v2 for mp3. (last tag = highest priority) since that
was also holding true for FLACs, thats why i said it works a
cool, just makin sure, (paranoid).
i'm kind of afraid to try the 7.5 on the wiki beta downloads page, but
once you merge all this stuff to it, if you'll let us know, i'll switch
from 7.4.xb to 7.5b and see if its working as i hope, b/c i am anxious
to see these great new features.

FLAC is now:
ID3v1, ID3v2, Vorbis
FLAC tags == Vorbis comments, I said FLAC because some people would
not understand why they aren't just called FLAC tags. :)
Other formats (higher priority last):
AIFF - ID3v1, ID3v2
APE - APE tags
MP3 - ID3v1,

I have the Dylan 2007 collection of three cds. Up to and including 7.4.2
these were scanned correctly (sets as one album is on):
Album: Dylan 2007
tracks from cd1
tracks from cd2
tracks from cd3
For some reason, the scanner of 7.5 has three albums:
Dylan [Disc 1]
tracks from cd1
Dylan [Disc 2]

I am running 7.4.2-29092 on a QNAP TS-509. I get the following error
when executing a scan for new or changed music. The database cleanup

i think Andy has it right...
afterall, there may be users out there who only have id3 tags in their
flacs. if so, you don't want to remove support for that. and if flac
tags have the higher priority, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone with
both kinds.

So is there a recommendation for a solid tag editor? Mp3tag is very
usable for tagging lots of music, but if it isn't showing things
correctly then it's usefulness is significantly lessened.

Where does an album without album tags appear in the SqueezePlay
(Controller/Radio/Touch) interface ?
In the "Albums" menu in both web interface and and
Classic/Boom/Transporter interface there is a "No Album" entry. However,

there's absolutely nothing wrong with mp3tag, it's probably the most
powerful

32MB might easily be consumed during a scan. You should try to configure mysql
to use some different folder for temporary storage.

I get the same thing when I select 'My Apps'. My guess is that it
isn't supposed to work.
