Is it necessary to trigger a rescan just because someone edits and saves a playlist through the web interface ? Isn't the information already in the database when the playlist has been edited through the SBS web interface ? It causes a bit of problem for me in the "TrackStat Playlist" plugin whic

continued to try to isolate the issue: - started with a fresh install of squeezeboxserver (7.5 beta) and new prefs + new cache=> it works fine I modified the file type settings to have all files played as native only if possible or transcoded to PCM (for ALAC mainly)... the issue is back again :/

Installed todays 7.6.0 build for windows and I did indeed have problems with coverart in the web browser.. Music->Album would work fine. However my playlist would only show some covers no matter that all the tunes were from the same two albums?! the rest would be the "red x" Also the volume were

FYI In 7.6 the Cover cache is actually now SQLite based, instead of filebased, which gives better performance. Especially when scanning. My understanding is that SQLite is used for cover cache no matter if you are using SQLite or mysql for the main database. Where do you not see the covers? web i
