Hi
Apart from few bugs I reported here and on Bugzilla, I must confirm
that the performance in SQLite configuration in recent 7.6 betas is
much better than with MySQL in release package. This include browsing,
scanning, switching between playlists and tracks..
thanks for the great work!
Michael
Good work!

BTW, here's an example of what that looks like in my database, as you
can see with the artists 10,000 Maniacs, A.C. Reed and AC/DC.

I've figured out what's going on.
I ran a test with SbS 7.6, latest SVN, running with SQLite. I also set
up a test library with two Mp3 tracks, different artists ('Bob Smith',
'Harry Jones'. Ran a full scan and SbS showed two artists. Changed
them to both the same, then ran a new & changed scan

Have you tried popping the battery out and rebooting with the vol-up key
held down? That would be the first thing I'd try.

I've had same issue about 7.6 r9069. Tried to revert back to previous
firmware and when the controller rebooted it came back to normal and
few seconds later it came up with firmware upgrade message 7.6 r9075. I
then by accident pressed to upgrade, but it only downloaded 5% and then

Hi there
You are correct. Mine stopped working too. However I was able to revert
to the old version.

then press and hold volume up, put battery back in and wait until you

Installed firmware 7.6. r9069 on my Controller and after the reboot it
became unresponsive. I then tried a factory reset by pressing + while
booting, but now I can't even select a language in setup menu "Choose

I then tried to revert to the previous firmware by holding the "volume

It seems the new ip3k firmwares are only distributed by the current 7.6
SBS versions (in /Contents/server/Firmware) so far and did not make it
to the update server.
