The Album Artist is just denoting the artist for the album. I don't use the
two in combination, but other people may.

Is it possible to catch this trackid (123, 456) via the CLI (I could
not find it)? That wa

I really need to try this but just in case someone can provide a quick
answer before I get some time to try it out myself:

Can I use a UPnP controller of my chioce to select and start playing

I've qualified and published 7.6 beta firmware for Squeezebox Radio,
r9284.
As Mickey stated in the thread linked below, official support for
Spotify on Squeezebox Radio and Touch is available as a beta for 7.5.3
and 7.6 Squeezebox Server users. That support is also included in

I understand that UPnP uses a whole other paradigm, namely that the
client normally asks the server for a specific file (pull), whereas the
SBS pushes a certain stream to the client. So my question was if the SBS
will also implement some sort of control mechanisms for the UPnP clients
so we do not

Not sure what you are asking, you can already control your SB players
much better with SBS in other ways. This
Are you supposed to be able to control the UPnP media renderers with SBS

I use ARTIST. I can't play them because it lists 0 tracks, so I'm
unable to select a track.

Andy, have you been able to test this
When you guys talk about a "compilation" what do you really mean ?
Is SBS using it's compilation indication for something else than
removing artists from the main "Artists" menu and putting their albums
into "Artists/Various Artists" ?
I feel that I've probably missed something and "compilation"
