I don't remember that discussion. I only remember a certain level of
frustration over the unimaginable names out there which got broken by
our attempt to fix typos like this.
In any case I would expect all UI's to show the
names as it is when it's in the dB :) I

Re my scan issue I did not remove unwanted playlists it is the normal
playlist in my playlist directory that sudenly causes this since my
latests upgrade , so the issue is not fixed ( some of the playlist been
there for years unchanged )

As far as testing it goes, I can do a quick verification that a scan for
new and changed will pick up
I installed 1403261343 and composers no longer appear when using the My
Music search -- only Artists from my single list. Thanks!

Browse Modes settings is to make it easier to fill in those text boxes.
Any chance that list can be alpha sorted? It appears fairly random right
