The fact that it broke lazysearch is a showstopper for me.
I also saw some weirdness when going right arrow from now playing but
can't remember what it was, I went back to 7.5 to get lazysearch back.

I always had Random Track, Random Album and a favourite playlist
assigned to Fav buttons and I couldn't find a way to do this with
presets so I hacked the prefs file and it seems to work ok.
Thinking about it though, maybe you can assign a favourite to a

I'm not using 7.4 yet but I have had the same feeling in the past and I
have a similar size library. I've usually found that a clear and rescan
fixes things but whether it fixes SC or me is unproven :-)

SqueezeScrobbler is available on the Controller - not sure why you keep saying
it's not?
The difference between the two is that SqueezeScrobbler shows up in 'Internet
Radio' and the official plugin is in 'Music Services'. Oh, and SqueezeScrobbler
has a nicer logo too...

Well us old timers never had to do that :-), it was done as as option on
the installer and that was that.
I guess that setting was carried over as long as the directory wasn't

There's a utility (Windows only) on my site linked below, that will
reset the modified dates to match the file's creation date and restore
order to 'new music'. Some people have pointed out that this can mess

me program and assuming you ripped your cd's when you bought your SB
and then rip new CD's as you buy them - it works fine.
I do agree with you though, I wrote the program to get around what I

Looks like the connection to LastFM is failing with a timeout somewhere,
but they are actually receiving the data OK.
This sort of thing happens a lot at the weekend - LastFM don't seem to
believe in out-of-hours support...

My 100% CPU issue came back again, when I started enabling other
plugins.
It seems like it is a combination of plugins that causes this, because
I'm sure it was OK with Adblock plus alone installed.

I agree, new colours are terrible. Does anyone actually prefer them so

The easiest way I found to see why there are duplicate entries is to
look at the rows in the 'album' table in the database to see what
columns are different.
In my case, I had an album where most of the tracks were AAC but some
MP3.

I installed 6.5.2 a couple of days ago onto my main pc which I don't
usually run my server on. I chose not to have it start automatically
because it was just for testing. Like kbelinski, I have Slimtray
indicating that Slimserver is running when it isn't.

I seem to remember something about Windows services not being able to
access shared drives correctly, but I can't remember any more details.

I had the same problem last week, and the issue seems to be interaction
between MySQL and virus scanners.
Disabling scanning of the .myi file extension has fixed the problem.
