There is a bug report I think the old one is reopened.
I also see this some times.
I wonder if it is like the last time around, if you disable controller
as player(beta) then this is much more unlikely to happen.

When I'm using last-fm from My Apps on the controller it works
perfect.
When i'm using the last-fm icon on the *home* menu, then i get stuck in

first submenu.

This is interesting no chance i get 1500kbps even 1 meter from the
router ?
I'm using WPA2-PSK and Mac filtering, does such things bog down
conection speed on devices with tiny cpu's.
Well it reaches 1500 but it's not constant.

After an upgrade the squeezeboxserver used to start again.
Now i have to do it manually, is this as it should be ?
I'm ok with it but is it an intentional change or bug ?
Edit: of course it starts after reboot, just have to start it after the
actual upgrade.

My machine does not crash but search seems to go trough track barriers

That was it a couple of clicks on scan for new and changed and
SqueezeBox server 27455 actually tossed the whole database ? next
restart it begun the scan fram scratch again :/ see ya in 4-5 hours will
watch tv in the meantime.

but not the server log ? it can not be read, likewise if i try to open
the file directly from the ubuntu machine ? scanner.log is ok but not
server.log (server.log can be opened with vi or nano directly on the
server ).
