It hasn't finished yet, but it seems to be finding everything OK so
far. It is looking like it will be a little over 2.5 hours for about
9200

it appears that both the album artist and track artist are the same
(Queen).
This was from a clear/full scan after a full wipe of the install.
What more information would be useful to help track them down?

didn't see it and still was trying to use c:\... instead.
This was after several restarts of both SbS CP AND SbS. The only
conclusion that I could come to was that they were looking in different
places for the location.
I wasn't able to reproduce the multiple scanner issue this weekend

anually it takes far too long to start up SC
- the windows service cp times out and reports an error even though SC
is still trying. After it timed out it took about another 5 minutes to
finish starting.

On windows XP MCE sp3. No log files at all. Running as a service with
a named user or as just a process of the session.
Did an uninstall/reinstall and it also wouldn't start.
Reverting to a version from the middle of the week seems to have
worked.

its time (Windows XP MCE) the controller hadn't changed it's displayed

Ahhh, but you do. 2 out of 3 people you had the controller to will
pick a song by hitting the play button - thereby cancelling the current
song and all prior songs picked.
I go in and cancel it. The automatic mode would be useful for me
setting up playlists so I could do something advanced like insert a
song next - not usually something that I do at a party but useful in
day-to-day activities.

version. However, it just "ticks" and bounces but doesn't do anything
else when you enter 127.0.0.1 (since that is where I've got the ssh
redirecting go

I don't put anyting into "my music", either. It is on a different
drive, even.
I suppose you could prompt as part of the actual installation exe for
where the music is... There needs to be a prompt somewhere, though.
a seperate .exe that was called by the installer and
did the actual checking it wouldn't have to change and the firewall
wouldn't ask every time, right?

On Windows IE i've noticed that the left side tends to refresh quite
often when it, strickly speaking, wouldn't need to. Actually, it
usually seems to refresh twice in a row. I can get some specific cases
together if needed.

When it installs on Windows it claims that there are ports blocked.
Well, it worked yesterday and there have been no firewall changes so
that seemed unlikely. It also works just fine after install.
