this is not the same issue. auto-dimming simply does not work. manual
dimming will.

not sure what you mean by edited- no, as you can see by the typo, no
editing.
in the Diagnostic Test, the reading is 44 with no light on (but natural
daylight in the room). if i turn on a lamp, the setting drops to 35 or
so. display itself does not dim.

adjust the knob. and, when room lighting conditions change, the scree
brightness stays the same, always 100%.
the only way screen brightness will actually change is if i choose
manual brightness.

Hi Michael- enjoying 7.9 thus dar, scan was fast and easy and i'm really
appreciating the Additional browse modes. one issue that is somewhat
related- i'm seeing composers in the Artist field when i browse by
Genre (Genre-->Jazz-->...)
in earlier versions of LMS there was a setting to include/do
HI Michael,
really enjoying 7.9, particularly the wonderful Random Album feature.
however, since upgrading from 7.8 i've been unable to get Playlists to
scan. I've tried a clear library and rescan, just scan playlists, i've
moved my PL folder to a new location, al to no avail.
here's my setup:
UPDATE:
Looks like Playlists are showing up on all my other squeezeboxen, just
NOT the Transporter. I have Touch, 2xBooms, 2xRadios, and all show
Playlists, except they all show duplicates for ALL playlists, eg, each
PL is shown twice.

i'd really like to see playcounts, and the ability to build playlists
off same, with dynamic updating. for instance, all tracks that contain
the genre Jazz, and have been played fewer than 2 times.
you can probably do this with some combination of erlands plugins, but
it's very kludgy (IMO). iTu

still enjoying this so much.
is there a way to implement this feature w/ streaming services, perhaps
w/ a genre level filter? Qobuz in particular would be wonderful.

restarted, but can't figure out how to set it up. where should i be
looking?
also, Napster seems to be included by default in the Apps me
