I just upgraded to the current 7.8 nightly version and it seems to have
broken the "Automatically start server at login" option.
What version were you running before that?
If I look in Resources/create-launchitem.sh, it has
PRODUCT_NAME=UEMusicLibrary which is obviously wrong :-)

Ouch!... going to fix this right now.
Interesting that this issue has been undetected for >7 months! I guess
most users don't want to start the server upon login :-)

So, guys, you say it is time to move on from 10.6.8 to 10.8.2 and also
upgrade the server to LMS 7.8?
What are you thoughts beside 7.8 being beta software :-)

It should have, yes. Don't know why it didn't.

I'm afraid I can't remember exactly what it offered me, but I do recall
that it only offered me one choice

In the past we've seen a lot of complaints about the OSX PrefPane not
being 64-bit, thus requiring to restart the System Preferences in 32-bit
mode. The reason for this limitation was our attempt to be compatible back
to 10.4. But it's probably time to move on now.
