Today in and around Keswick, Keith and Chris Dunn had a SNOWY OWL along the
short stretch of Yonge St. that runs south of Ravenshoe Road. This is the
first Snowy of the winter for York region as far as I know. They also observed
WHITE-WINGED, BLACK and SURF SCOTER between Cook's Bay and Holmes
SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark

Very light winds and falling BP suggested a poor migratory raptor flight
along the lakefront at Cranberry over the past 3 days. In spite of this it
is great to have the support of so very many observers, visitors,
bird-photographers. I shall close down the CMRW site on November 30.

seen - 1 Sanderling on east shore.
Directions: Reesor Pond is on the west side of Reesor Road just North of
the 407 in Markham
The owl was seen WEST of Ste-Rose not east.
