The Northern Hawk-Owl continues to hunt along Grandview Road off Carling Ave.
There were a few small flocks of both Pine Siskin and White-winged Crossbills
feeding in the spruce and cedar trees along Grandview. At the corner of Rifle

I birded the Luskville, Eardley and Quyon areas this afternoon. There were
the usual birds, Pine Grosbeaks, Bohemian Waxwings, Red-tailed Hawks, Ruffed

Hi All,
Today we (my 5-month old & I) headed up to Orillia and found the N.
Hawk-Owl in it's previously reported spot on Monck Road (Cty Rd 45)
about 400m west of Sideroad 20 in Ramara Twp. It was sitting atop a
huge Oak tree. I passed by again 1.5 hrs later and it was in the same
spot. Not muc
The 5th Saugeen Shores CBC was held on Saturday, January 3rd with excellent
weather. 24 participants located 50 species. Highlights included an Eastern
Meadowlark, Lapland Longspur, Golden Eagle, 12 Bald Eagles, 13 Snowy Owls, and
47 Red-tailed Hawks including one almost completely white leuci
