Hi All
Just after I left work I got a call about a Prothonotary Warbler. I
just caught up with it approx 200 m south of the gate work along the
edge of the marsh. There is a nice feeding flock of warblers, including
a Pine , bringing today's total to at least 21 species of warbler.

The male (singing) Lark Sparrow was still at the location described yesterday
near Caledonia.
It was right on the shoulders of Tyneside Rd right near the barn and was also
in the field beside the barn that was
described in the previous post.

In spite of the heavy rain and north winds, Thickson's Woods in Whitby had
excellent birding this morning, Tuesday April 28. There were two male Hooded
Warblers in the woods all day yesterday, and both may still be there - one
was singing from the north edge of the woods just east of the entrance

What a difference a day makes! The warm and balmy weather of early this
week was definitely not present at Point Pelee National Park this
morningbut there were still birds about!

Britannia Woods/Mud Lake in Ottawa. A total of 10 species of warblers were
observed between 7:30-11:30a.m. 1 Northern Parula, 1 Ovenbird, 4 Northern

I was at Kortright today from 3:00 PM till' closing (4:30 PM) and managed to
find some interesting species.
