Prothonotary Warbler - 2 males, both singing at Fish Point - 1 is a definite

Hi Pam told me she saw a pair of PROW at Fish Point going in my boxes. Are they
bringing in nesting materials? if so which box are they going in? the rumor was
that it was a green one.

The warbler is still being seen across from Pelee Wings (behind 633 Pt Pelee
drive). We had the best looks from the parking lot across from the store

woops I forgot to add to the YTWA report that I had a small flock 17
Dunlins flying west not far off the water off the mouth of Sheridan Creek where
it drains out of the Marsh.
Directions: park at the south end of Bexhill road (which runs of Lakeshore
Boulevard west between Erin Mills P
At 4:07 pm I found a male Yellow-throated Warbler feeding in a leafless
hawethorn about 100 feet downslope from the boardwalk just behind the soccer
field behind the Greenglade School. I think this is the site where the
Kentucky Warbler was seen last week.

Further to Cheryl Edgcombe's e.mail I would like to forward the following
details. After Mark Cranford's morning posting several birders apparently
managed to find the same bird into late morning. I arrive at Lakeside Part at
12:45 pm and at that point the bird was said to have left the site.

A Yellow-throated Warbler was reported by Jean Iron across the road
from Pelee Wings at 636 Point Pelee Drive at 3:30pm this afternoon.
Jean reports that this is the more rare white-lored form. Some of the

Park in Mississauga now west of Lakeside Park and the Suncor Building and
across from Holicom. Parking is still best at Lakeside or the property beside.
Suncor has no trespassing signs.

The Rondeau Yellow-throated Warbler continues to be seen at the bird garden
/ feeder area at the Visitor Centre. It was seen there at 8:10 am. It has
also been reported at its usual haunt at #17372 Lakeshore Road. Birders are

I relocated and photographed a Prothonotary Warbler at 9:00 that I had
originally found at 8:35. The bird was along the creek on the western
edge of the park.
Lakeside Park is on Lakeshore Road between Southdown and Winston
Churchill Roads in Mississauga. It has a new parking lot immediately
8 warblers: Magnolia, Black-throated Blue, Ovenbird, Palm,Yellow, Common
Yellowthroat, Yellow-rumped, Nashville
