The Thick-billed Kingbird is present as of 6:36 a.m. at Calf Pasture. Please
park in Calf Pasture parking lot, not along the residential road. It is near
the bridge. Go along the narrow footpath at the east end of the parking lot.

The Thick-billed Kingbird is still present as of 8:54 a.m. Please remember to
park in the Calf Pasture parking lot. At the east end of the parking lot, take
the footpath towards the residential road. The bird is in that area.

Hi Ontbirders,
The T-b Kingbird is still being seen in the trees near the first
cottage east of the Calf Pasture bridge (Where Atkins Land goes under
Bayshore Rd.). It would be best if people would park at the Calf
Pasture Parking area rather than on Bayshore Rd. which can be busy and
ha
At about 10:50 this morning the Thick-billed Kingbird flew off to the
south-east of where it had been seen and was then out of sight. No doubt it is
still in the Park, but might take some searching, perhaps from Paxton Drive.

The Thick-billed Kingbird was re-located on the opposite side of the road where
it was seen originally. It is still present as of 11:54a.m.

At least one bird still present at 12:45pm today, amongst the hundred or so
shorebirds, including many A. Golden Plovers.
Thanks to the amazing folks who report on OntBirds I have just added species

While we were at Presqu'ile for the Thick-billed Flycatcher, Dan Kaczynski
called saying he had a Hudsonian Godwit at Second Marsh in Oshawa.
Charlie Adey and I saw the bird around 2:30.
Directions: From the west, exit 401 at Harmony Road and proceed south on
Farewell to Colonel Sam Drive.

There was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Ottawa Beach off of Scrivens at 4pm
onwards. Present to at least 4.30pm. On the rocky shoals.
Note: the light was very poor at 4pm!
Directions:
Park at either Scrivens off Carling Avenue or Lakeside Gardens, Britannia Beach.

The yellow throated warbler showed up at the water feature in the yard
at 5pm. This is the first sighting since July 31.
Also red eyed vireo, 2 red breasted nuthatches, wilson warblers and redstzrts.

Hi all!
Had a bit of shopping to do in the general direction of Mitchell so took
the opportunity to go look for the 2 Hudsonian Godwit and succeeded. Also saw 1
Wilson's Snipe in the NE corner of the overgrown 'shorebird cell' with some 25
Lesser Yellowlegs and a few 'peep' that only becam
This afternoon, Josh Vandermulen and I had 3 Juv. Sabine's Gulls and 1
Juv. Long-tailed Jaeger from my Zodiac off Van Wagner's Beach in
Hamilton. All birds would have been visible from the Lakeland Centre
with a scope.
