Birders,
The previously reported ROSS'S GOOSE is still present at the Roch Chapel
Golf Course in Flamborough. Joanne Redwood and I just met up with Barry
Cherriere there who had the bird staked out nicely. The Snow Geese have not
been seen yet , nor have any little cacklers.

We dropped in just about 4:00 and the 2 Snow geese and Ross's were all present
- a number of other birders around that got to see them - then both groups left
about 4:05.
Please note that the owner has said birders will not be welcome on the property
after today.

Late this afternoon I found a Eurasian Wigeon at the corner of Pelee Drive and
Concession Road E. The bird is in a flooded field with a massive concentration
of other puddle ducks.
The bird is a "drab" male with a dull rusty head (not bright red) so I suspect
it is a one-year-old.
Estimates
Good evening: You can travel far and wide for a chance to see a Northern
Shrike. Or you can look up from the book you are reading and see one on
your clothesline above a feeder with a startled Mourning Dove sitting in
said feeder "very quietly".

The most remarkable sighting was at the base of the Leslie Spit, where, as
