Turkey Vultu
The Snowy Egret reported earlier today by Ken Burrell at the Northfield Dr.
bridge over the Conestoga River was still present at noon. The bird flew
upriver out of sight after I viewed it for 10 minutes. It moved around quite a
bit while I was there so if you don't spot it right away be patient.
A juvenile Red Knot is with Black-bellied Plovers on the main beach at
Presqu'ile Provincial Park north of lookout 1.
Directions: take the Brighton exit from 401.

We are looking at a juvenile Western Sandpiper at Presqu'ile Provincial Park at
Lookout 3 but the shorebirds are moving about from Owen Point to Lookout 1.
Directions: take Brighton exit from 401.
