The water levels are partially down at Earl Rowe Park west of Alliston. At the northwest end of the reservoir there are some mudflats at the point where the river broaden’s into the reservoir and there are some small islands. The was one Stilt Sandpiper there this morning and when I went back

With strong SW winds and rain overnight,with similar conditions continuing nearly right until the trip started, I admit the outlook for the trip looked a bit bleak. Nevertheless, nearly 40 faithful birders met this morning at 8 AM at Hutch`s on the Beach for the annual Hamilton OFO trip. Condition
