Hello Birders
If anyone is interested there are now 6 in the cattle pasture at 6862
county road #50 just north of Holiday Beach Conservation Area. Quite
amusing to watch them at times 3 riding shot gun on on their preferred
bovine.

Sorry folks, I got fooled when looking at the bird while facing the afternoon
sun. I got a clearer look when it came closer and it is an American Wigeon (and
there are others). My apologies

Folks: There appears to be a probable Ross's Goose at the lagoons this morning. Smallish, white Goose with black primaries. Grey secondaries, with grey running down the back of the short neck. Stubby bill with a grey line running through eye as shown in Sibley's. Very white bird as opposed to all

off the rocky point. Amherst Island Ferry.

There is a Purple Sandpiper feeding along the shoreline on the Martin Edwards
Nature reserve just past the last martin house and a male Eurasian wigeon off
the gravel point.
