200 m south of Haycock Island, looking W. Access to the dyke is restricted to

The bird has moved to the east out of sight from the park. It was in the
company of two Horned Grebes allowing for great comparisons.
Col Sam Smith park is on the west Toronto waterfront at the foot of Kipling
Ave.

Viewing conditions along the Ottawa River were excellent this morning and I
observed two adult male Barrow's Goldeneyes, one west of Britannia Pier
(photo) and a second male at the top of Deschenes Rapids. I was watching
these individuals as Jon watched the Barrow's Goldeneye's at Shir

Sorry for posting this a bit late. The female king eider was giving good
views this morning from 0730 until I left at 0800. It was again near the
rocky spit just east of the ferry dock.
Millhaven is about 23 km west of Kingston on Highway 33. The dock for the
ferry to Amherst
Just before noon today I saw a Greater White-fronted Goose in low flight over Island Lake, on the west side of the York-Durham townline (Road 30) just south of Aurora Road. It may have just taken off from the far (west) side of the island in the small lake/large pond, and may still be in the a

of year bird; I could see some Buffy wash to neck, otherwise in basic plumage.
Now well to east of Col. Sam. Smith Park.
Viewing from bottom of Royal York Rd., just south of Lakeshore Blvd. It is an
apartment building
This goose was seen several times at the edge of the flock of Snow geese at
around 1000 this morning.
Directions: Take Hwy 417 east from Ottawa past Casselman and take exit 58. Turn
right (south) on Hwy 138. After a short distance turn right on Lafleche Rd.
