A Plegadis ibis, likely a Glossy, is feeding in the A.K.Sculthorpe (aka Lake
Street) marsh in Port Hope today, Saturday Nov.26.
Its crown still has white streaking, suggesting a juvenile, eye chestnut brown,
head very dark with thin whitish line above and below lores.
Bill and legs dark

The Thick-billed Murre was present as of around 11:30 when we left, and
presumably (likely) still present.
I noticed a number of birders viewing it from the boat dock area 'in town' in
Cobden as described yesterday, which is considerably further from the bird this
morning than the Summerfield
Good looks and so/so photos, moving between Melissa Bishop Park at north end of
lake and Church Point Road (1st spotted from Melissa Bishop park). Look for a
smaller dark necked bird with slender bill. Lake Dore is on highway 41 north of
Eganville. Michelle & Paul Martin, Mark Patry.

Apologies.
What I saw on Thursday was a pair of Red-Necked Grebes.
