The Reddish Egret is still being seen at Oliphant this afternoon at
3:30 pm.
My wife and I saw the bird fly in and land and then proceeded to
do it’s feeding ritual in a shallow area.
Travel along the shore road to the north end along the gravel portion.
There is a small parking lot where there
5 American golden plovers seen at 424. Look for the 4 killdeer next to the
road, they should be close.

While in CHURCHILL, MANITOBA , I noticed LONG-TAIiLED JAEGERS leaving the area
on 17th of June. They were climbing high and heading South.
Since then They have been sighted at K.Pt. during nice weather flying past
Kettle Point about 15 feet above the water and dipping down to pick up
Sorry, not sure last post went through. As below, Swallow-tailed Kite has been
hunting for past couple hours in same general place as yesterday (corner of
12th Concession and 12/13 Sideroad). I believe 12/13 SR is road east of
Klondike.

Jean Iron and I just saw the Western at Presquile. It’s at Owen Point, lookout

5 peep species at Owen Point today with multiples of Baird’s, a couple of
White-rumps and the Western. Nice long decurved bill, bright rufous scaps
showing next to the folded wing, came quite close for some good photos. At
least one possibly two Peregrines patrolling the beach and putting the

on a rock but out of sight. Only visible if you’re willing to get wet.

Hi everyone,
The snowy egret that I found Friday at Keith McLean’s Conservation Area is
still present in the area but is moving around quite a bit. Yesterday, two
observers had it land for 10 minutes or so in the conservation area but it
wasn’t seen otherwise. Today, I found it with 8 great

Take Hwy 6 north through Wiarton. Turn left on Jenny Street/Bruce Road 13.
Drive all the way to the end (into Oliphant). Turn right on Shoreline Ave.
