Mike Austin and I found a Prothonotary Warbler at Point Pelee this morning. I
realize it might not be a really rare bird anymore at Pelee but finding one
this late in the year was pretty exciting.
We had seen it on the Red Bud Trail, it was half way between the clearing and
the southern end
Showing well right now about a hundred meters down the marsh trail

Hi Mike,
I expect it’ll still be here. Looks to be pretty happy and we know its roost
site. That helps. I’ll probably see you here.

Hi All
This is the first day Gull Is. is open to the public and I went over this AM to
check out the crossing and the birds.
Today waves were coming in from the south (Lake) side about 1 foot in height
Popham Bay was quite calm
Crossing: (apologise for mixing metric and Imperial units but I am
Hi again,
The kiskadee gave tremendous looks the morning from 8:10 until about 9:40. It
started at the roost area 75m along the trail on the right, then hunted frogs
along the edge of the bay right at the marsh trail entrance. It flew to Water
St east of the cottages where it was last seen
The bird is present at 8:10 this morning near the roost tree. 75m up the Marsh
trail, right hand side.
