At 5:05 PM, I got a text message from Elias Takacs advising me that the
WHITE IBIS was still being seen, presumably in the same area it was
previously reported.
Would be worth a check in the evening and tomorrow AM.
Directions. Get off the 401 at exit 579 and go south to Jim Kimmet blv
The most interesting thing about the bird is that it is a yellow crowned
night heron. Currently giving nice views where David posted earlier.
Qew to Kipling then go south to the park and park in south east lot. Walk
east to small pond and its on north end.

I thhnk its worth noting that at times the bird flies to the inner harbour.
Dan Macneal called to advise the bird was sitting on the blue roofed
building in the inner harbour, but only visible from the west side of that
building.

Since the bird is in no mans land, I thought an update would be appreciated.
Lisa and I have just left the previously reported locale, south of the
party town of Milford, prince Edward county, where chuck sang regularly for
us from 9:20 pm till around 9:40pm, at which time the half dozen

Already posted to hambirds. We are currently viewing. 4 of 4 Pelicans on
the north shore islands along eastport drive.
These pelicans are stunning at close views viewed from the path along
eastport north of the cciw.
Actually they just flew In the water so look there.Pretty obvious.

Birders,
The Piping Plover reported earlier at Nonquon Lagoons by Dave Milsom, is
still present on the north east rock jetty in the 1st lagoon.
In the south west corner, we discovered a Red-necked Phalarope. Both were
photographed. The plover appears to have orange and green bands.

The update is that the bird has NOT been reseen today that I can tell. A
thorough search has been conducted. There are many gulls here so it could
be hiding in one of the groups on one of the docks or behind a boat.
Directions. Qew Toronto exit Mississauga road go south to lakeshore, then

The young male Kirtlands Warbler continues to be seen in the pine stands
just east of the pumphouse at Long Point new provincial park.
During our Visit the bird was seen twice before heavy rains dampened
efforts further. It is associating with mixed warbler flocks and is quite
active so b

hillman Marsh in Essex county.

A large group of us are viewing golden winged warbler at the tip. Its on
the west side of the main path leading south of the tram loop just south of
the wooden boardwalk.

The Long-billed Dowitchers found initially by David Pryor are still present
in a flooded field on James snow parkway in Milton.initially a group of 13
birds, there are now 7 remaining and viewed by a group of us.

The male Painted Bunting continues at the feeders at 95 Glencairn cres. In
Huntsville.
A group of us had the bird near the burn
pile close to the feeders in the backyard. Its roosting in the conifers
and feeding every hour or so.

The bird is present in the backyard at 6494 19th Line. Previously reported
as going to the feeders, today it appeared in the yard at 8:50 Am and did
not go to feeders but rather just flew about the yard. It liked the
crabapple tree near the house and feeders.

Hello,
There is a fish crizzow hanging out around bayfront park in Hamilton. I
just had the bird vocalizing and flying towards the Leander boat club east
of the eastern most spit at the park. It is with a few other corvids and
seems to be roaming the area. They came from the trainyard west of the
Bird is present and resting on rocks on west side of island with cormorant
nest poles. Seen from cciw parking lot.
Qew Niagara and exit eastport drive. At first lights turn right at Canada
centre for inland waters and view the islands.
